All Maclaw Wheels use the same bearing references, whether they are freestanding or wall-mounted.
Bearing references
- Front bearing: 6205 2RS.
- Rear bearing: 6204 2RS.
Front and rear mean the same thing on both mounting versions. Keep the full reference, including the 2RS suffix, when ordering from a bearing supplier.
Which bearing usually needs replacing?
The front bearing is the one that most commonly needs replacing. It is very rare for the rear bearing to need replacement. The bearing-change video shows how to replace both, so you can use the section you need.
Before ordering
Check the fixings and try the noise checks first. If you are unsure whether a bearing is causing the problem, send us a description and a short video.
